Welivo is a beauty studio and creator community with AI-assisted beauty checks, creator profiles, image and video posts, comments, follows, saved looks, and makeup journals. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how community and purchase features work, and how selected media is processed when you request an AI result.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Welivo iOS application and related support pages. Welivo combines beauty editing, virtual makeup checks, publishing, profile activity, and in-app purchases in one service. Some features depend on optional permissions or on the media and text that you choose to provide.

Collection

Information We Collect

We collect account and profile details that you choose to provide, such as username, avatar, bio, and related profile settings. We collect user content and community activity that you create in the app, including posts, captions, image or video uploads, comments, likes, follows, reports, and block actions. We also collect saved beauty results, beauty history entries, makeup journal records, and optional short clips that you attach to a post.

When you use purchases, we collect transaction states, product identifiers, and balance-related records needed to grant diamonds and support restore or troubleshooting requests. We do not receive your full payment card number because App Store billing is handled by Apple.

Use

How We Use Information

We use account and profile data to create, maintain, personalize, and secure your Welivo experience. We use uploaded media, beauty history, and journal records to deliver editing tools, publishing, archives, and profile surfaces. We use comments, likes, follows, reports, and block actions to operate the community, display user content, moderate harmful conduct, process reports, and protect service integrity.

We use purchase and credits records to grant in-app diamonds, prevent duplicate purchase grants, and help users restore access to paid entitlements. We use limited diagnostics and recommendation signals, where permitted, to understand product quality and which note or reference surfaces stay useful.

Media Access

Image and Media Access

Camera access lets you capture a new photo for beauty editing, profile updates, or post publishing. Photo-library access lets you choose existing photos or videos for AI beauty checks, creator posts, saved looks, and profile media. Photo-library add access lets you save an AI result or exported media to Photos after you decide to keep it. Microphone access is requested only when you record a short clip for a post.

AI

AI and Image Processing

Welivo offers AI-assisted beauty checks and virtual makeup features. We only send AI-related data after you choose the feature, select or capture a photo, and confirm the in-app consent step before sending. The data that may be sent includes the selected image, visible facial features contained in that image, your chosen beauty or shade settings, and the request details needed to generate the result.

AI-related data is sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope, including requests routed to dashscope.aliyuncs.com, so the requested beauty result can be generated and returned to Welivo. We use that information only to collect the input you submit, generate the requested result, present the result in the app, and let you save the result to Photos if you choose to do so. Welivo does not use those AI inputs or outputs for identity verification, face recognition, or biometric profiling.

Welivo does not keep the source photo or generated check image after the AI request ends. Provider task data and generated image links may remain available for up to 24 hours, and a copy is added to your Photos library only after you choose save. We contractually require third-party AI recipients and related service providers to provide the same or equivalent level of protection for personal data that this policy describes.

Community

User Content and Community

When you publish or interact in Welivo, we collect, process, store, display, share, and moderate the user content and community signals needed to operate the feed and profile surfaces. This includes posts, comments, likes, follows, reports, block actions, and moderation records. Published posts remain visible until you delete them or your account is removed, while moderation records may be retained longer when needed for repeated abuse review, safety investigations, or appeals.

Providers

Sharing and Service Providers

We share information with service-provider categories that help us run Welivo, such as app distribution, media delivery, AI image processing, account support, and diagnostics. For AI processing, the selected image and related request details are sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope as described above. We may also rely on service hosts such as arcadian.welivo.vip for hosted policy and support pages and on content-delivery services when users view remote media.

Service providers may access personal data only for the contracted purpose, and we require them to protect it with the same level of protection or a materially equivalent standard.

Tracking

Analytics and Tracking

If you allow tracking, Welivo may measure which note suggestions, profile surfaces, and reference links remain useful across apps and websites. We also use limited diagnostics to keep the service stable and responsive. You can change platform-level permission settings at any time.

Billing

Purchases and Billing

Diamonds and related purchase entitlements are tied to App Store purchase events. Apple processes the billing transaction, while Welivo receives only the purchase information needed to grant diamonds, prevent duplicate grants, and support restore or troubleshooting flows. Refund handling follows Apple billing processes and applicable law.

Retention

Data Retention

Account and profile data is retained while your account remains active and for a limited period afterward when needed to complete deletion, dispute, or fraud-prevention handling. Community posts, comments, beauty history, and journal records remain until you delete them or remove the account that owns them, except where a longer hold is needed for safety review or legal compliance. Purchase and entitlement records may be retained as long as necessary to support accounting, restore, fraud-prevention, and customer-support requirements.

Choices

Your Rights and Choices

You can update profile information in the app, manage platform permissions in iOS settings, and contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible personal data. If your request concerns a specific post, profile, or moderation action, include enough detail for us to locate the relevant record. Privacy requests can be sent to support@welivo.com.

Children

Children's Privacy

Welivo is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact support@welivo.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Updates

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when Welivo features, legal obligations, or support practices change. Material updates will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel before the revised version takes effect.
